Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have finally listed their Beverly Hills marital home for $6 million, setting themselves up to face a monetary loss.
The former couple initially purchased the home back in 2015 for the same price they are now asking. Taking into consideration six years of carrying costs, realtor commissions and renovation fees, that means they will not see a profit.
Although it’s been long vacant since the two announced their separation in 2018 — and finalized their divorce a year later — the home is only now hitting the market.
The move comes shortly after Tatum, 41, bought his post-divorce home in a secluded, tranquil property in Brentwood’s Mandeville Canyon for $5.6 million last month.
And the estate gives off an eerie vibe after photos of the listing show how their furniture and belongings have been completely cleared out, with just empty rooms sitting idle.
Made up of six bedrooms and six bathrooms, the property is situated behind driveway gates within the exclusive gated community that includes other famous neighbors like Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, Lisa Vanderpump, and Jon Voight.
With nearly 5,000 square feet of living space, the Hamptons-style country estate was completed in 1950 but rebuilt in 1977 and extensively renovated since.
Once owned by Princess Leia herself — the late Carrie Fisher — the oak-studded acre sits on vast gardens and lawns. Pegged as a three-level retreat, the home boasts spacious living spaces with double-height ceilings and fireplaces throughout.
Interior features include a gourmet kitchen, a formal living room, dining room and family rooms with floor-to-ceiling doors that open to multiple outdoor entertaining areas.
Outdoor features boast an expansive two-level wraparound deck, an oversized lawn and garden with a glistening pool and spa, and a pergola lounge with a stone wood fireplace.
Tatum has since moved on from his on-again, off-again relationship with Jessie J, while Dewan is expecting her second child with actor and fiancé Steve Kazee.
