TikToker finds creepy crawl spaces and tunnels in rental home

Can someone on TikTok please @ the police?

One TikTok user named Kay has posted a series of videos showing numerous creepy crawl spaces around her new rental home — and they have some disturbing features, including a message scratched into the wall.

“I [heart] Colleen’s body” is scraped into the wall of the crawl space, @j__babii posted on TikTok.

TikTok users were particularly concerned about this reference to “Colleen” and offered research about missing girls who shared the name.

But other users said the previous resident’s kids probably just used it as a fun hiding space. Some said it was probably a safe room-style hiding place. But @j__babii isn’t sure, since the home also has a metal safe room, which she calls “horrifying.”

Several suggested cleansing the space with sage, while others urged her to move out for her safety. The home has 16 security cameras provided by her landlord, she claimed, without further explanation. The TikTok user also didn’t elaborate on where the home is located or how she made the discovery.

Inside four creepy crawl spaces

The “Coraline crawl space” sits on the floor, opening through a small door. Inside the passage is an orange Converse sneaker and thumbtacks posted in the walls, as if to hold up papers.

The unfinished space also has a light switch, a light fixture, an outlet, exposed wires and exposed pipes covered by a small lampshade. The plaster switches to wood flooring before the tunnel opens above a child’s bedroom closet.

“Things in my rental home that just don’t make sense,” the TikToker captioned her first post, which garnered 5 million views.

That’s not the home’s only unusual crawl space: In a series of videos, the TikToker reveals a second crawl space behind a blacked-out window. It is filled with dead leaves, an unidentifiable “gross” object and a United States Tennis Association badge.

Inside, it has a door for a third crawl space, which she did not explore in her videos but said she believes leads to the garage.

Finally, a fourth crawl space near the ceiling opened to reveal Cheese Nips that expired in August 2016, a huge spider web and gaudy black-opalescent door beads.

“I moved cross country and rented it sight unseen. The listing didn’t mention a tunnel system,” she commented on the video. She also said the previous owners of the house were “very weird and eccentric.”

The house, which TikTokers have speculated is in Florida, was built in 1959, according to the TikToker.

The Post was not able to verify any details from the TikTok account, but it is linked to an Instagram account that has been posting since 2017.
