Philanthropist and former ad exec Marcia Riklis is planning to take a hit on the sale of her Upper East Side home.
The posh ninth-floor co-op, at 980 Fifth Ave., is on the market for $6.35 million.
That’s more than $2 million less than the $8.4 million she paid for it back in 2012.
But a couple of million may not have the same meaning to Riklis — who once tried to rent out her Southampton oceanfront beach house on Meadow Lane for $2.5 million for the 2015 summer season.
Riklis is the daughter of the late Meshulam Riklis, a Turkish-born, Israeli-raised financier, corporate raider and casino owner who had been photographed with Jewish gangster Meyer Lansky. (He denied they worked together.)
Riklis was best known for marrying actor/singer Pia Zadora — the second of his three wives — and funding/managing her career. (In 1992, Riklis and Zador were ordered by a Manhattan judge to pay Donald Trump $751,000 in back rent for their time at Trump Tower, according to the New York Times.)
Riklis bought the stunning Fifth Ave co-op from billionaire real estate developer Zygmunt “Zygi” Wilf, chairman and co-owner of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, and his wife Audrey, according to property records.
The three-bedroom, 3½-bathroom postwar co-op comes with a renovated eat-in galley kitchen and features separate private and public wings, along with stunning views of Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
While maintenance fees are a steep $9,759 a month, a parking space in the building’s garage can be rented for a relative bargain at $250 a month.
Listing brokers Bonnie Chajet and Ronnie Lane, of Warburg Realty, declined comment.
