The Gap is suing Kanye West for $2 million over their failed collaboration, claiming the embattled rapper made unapproved changes to a Los Angeles rental property the landlord is trying to collect on.

According to court documents obtained by The Post, Gap filed a claim against West, 45, and his Yeezy clothing line in LA court last month.

Art City Center, the company that claims to own the building leased to Gap, sued the clothing giant last year over “damages” to the property, at 1360 E. 6th St.

The alterations included erecting an exterior ramp in the east side parking lot; installing a tunnel in the lot; removing ceiling lights; building a wall; and nixing three bathrooms, according to the lawsuit.

Gap is trying to pass the buck to West, who announced the Yeezy Gap collaboration in 2020.

The suit against West claims, “by making and not repairing or restoring the foregoing alterations of the premises that [West] made without Gap’s participation or approval, [West] breached the strategic agreement and directly and proximately caused Gap to incur expenses to repair and restore the premises.”

Gap is asking West be held responsible for any damages owed to Art City, as well as $2 million in compensatory damages for itself.

The Post has contacted West reps for comment. A Gap spokesperson declined to comment, citing pending litigation.

Gap ended its partnership with the “Stronger” rapper last fall after he made a string of anti-Semitic comments.

“Antisemitism, racism and hate in any form are inexcusable and not tolerated in accordance with our values,” Gap said in a statement at the time.

But West later claimed the venture failed because he is a “king.”

“Everyone knows that I’m the leader, I’m the king,” West said during a CNBC appearance. “A king can’t live in someone else’s castle. A king has to make his own castle.”

West’s controversial remarks also cost him a lucrative Yeezy deal with Adidas, according to Forbes.

That meant West lost his billionaire status, as a whopping $1.5 billion of his estimated $2 billion fortune was attributed to his relationship with the apparel company.

Adidas recently announced it will start selling its Yeezy shoe inventory from its terminated partnership later this month. All proceeds will be donated to organizations combating racism and hate, the company said.

West has seemingly stepped out of the spotlight in recent months, though he and his new “wife,” Bianca Censori, 28, were spotted in West Hollywood not long ago.
