After three years and five months of improbable price growth, the US housing market faces its most critical summer yet. You can feel the recession fatigue setting in. Summer after summer, the common belief was that this immense bubble would pop, and the exponential gains we have seen would fade away to reasonable pre-2020 prices. After all in this short time span, a typical house in America saw its value increase by over 38%.
