The 8 MOST AFFORDABLE Housing Markets in the US (2023)

What are the most affordable housing markets in the US? Where can rental property investors buy profitable deals without shelling out hundreds of thousands on a down payment? In a time when mortgage rates are high, housing remains unaffordable, and investors are stuck in cash flow quicksand, which real estate market can save the day? Or is America too unaffordable to make rental property investments in 2023? Stick around; we found eight markets that give you the best bang for your buck in the country!

Dave Meyer is back on this Saturday edition to spit some facts on housing market data. He’s compiled a list of the country’s most affordable real estate markets, proving it’s STILL possible to invest in this harsh housing market. Dave set up some criteria to compile this list: 1. The city had to have an average housing price BELOW the national average. 2. Solid economic prospects must be present. 3. Population must be growing. 4. The rent-to-price ratio needs to be at least 0.6% (no more 1% rule!). This means ALL these areas could work as great rental property markets!
