Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s honeymoon home sells for $5.65M

The home where a certain crooner and an iconic actress celebrated their nuptials has a new owner.

Indeed, this midcentury-modern compound in Palm Springs, California — where Elvis and Priscilla Presley honeymooned in 1966 — has found a buyer just six weeks after listing. The abode sold to the former women’s fitness clothing line owner Nancy Cirillo, who paid Seattle-based investors Dan Bridge and Paul Armistead’s full $5.65 million asking price, the Wall Street Journal reported

“You walk in, and it wraps around you. It was pretty easy to love,” said Cirillo of the home’s “groovy, sexy, odd” architecture and appeal. The 4,700-square-foot four-bedroom won Cirillo not with its Man in Black association — but with its curved, cornerless design.

Compass agent Marc Sanders, who represented both the buyer and seller, told the Journal that the sellers received multiple offers for the property. “[With] the amount of interest this house got, you wouldn’t have thought” we were in a softer market, said Sanders.

“The spaceship-like dynamic winged roof line shelters four circular pods with the center of the house fanning out from the dramatic stepped waterfall,” its listing noted, as The Post previously reported.

Through carved-wood double-height doors, the nostalgically futuristic lodging leads to a “sunken party pad” composed of stone walls, glass and a floating hearth. Natural sunlight abounds throughout, and the open-format living room overlooks a covered dining room and a poolside lounge. The primary suite with an observation deck-level balcony and a circular tub is located up a grand staircase. The other bedrooms also feature ensuite baths, and two also have a terrace.

Bridge and Armistead put the property on the market following a renovation, which included the restoration of various details, including the stone and terrazzo floors.

Priscilla, 77, and Elvis were married for six years. They divorced in 1973.
