Rising home prices have been predominant in 2022 and looking into 2023. These predictions are based on macro events including inflation, types of home financing, current rent prices and buyer demographics.
One of the driving forces that will continue in the housing market are that hedge funds and financial institutions are buying homes. Also Gen Z buyers will start to be a force since they are high earners relative to other generations at the same point and they will also be future home buyers. Also predictions of a housing market crash based on the current housing bubble. We do not believe that we are in a bubble and that home prices will crash.
