HOME PRICES and SALES Dropping FAST! Inventory on the Rise

The National Association of Realtors just announced that homes sales have declined for the 4th straight month in a row by 3.4% in May 2022. Simultaneously we have more homes hitting the market increasing the U.S. housing supply to 2.6 months worth of inventory.

This spells good news in the housing market if you’ve been waiting for home prices to cool off and come back to reality. My 2022 housing market prediction is that more and more homes will continue to be listed at high prices but sit on the market longer, and see multiple price cuts in many cases before selling.
