Cardi B revealed earlier this month that she has officially moved into her dream home in the city of New York.
The only issue? It’s in New Jersey.
The artist, a native New Yorker, who grew up in Washington Heights, took to Instagram on Nov. 2 to share with her fans the news she had purchased a freshly constructed home.
“These days I don’t just live [in] one place, I’m everywhere due to my work. One thing for sure: I needed a home in my home city of NY!” Cardi B, 29, wrote in the caption.
“Me and my husband have always dreamed of having a crib in NY, and we have decided to add to our portfolio of homes, along with Atlanta and LA,” she continued.
“Now having a home in NY, I can have get togethers with my family all the time!! I have accomplished so many things yet I still feel far from all the goals I want to accomplish. This is one dream I can cross off…..Let me know if ya’ll want a mini tour!”
But the home is actually located in the suburbs of Tenafly, in the Garden State — about 45 minutes from Manhattan, and 25 minutes to Washington Heights, where she grew up.
Cardi B closed on the home on Sept. 17 for $5.85 million, property records show, and is spending more than $1 million on improvements, a source told The Post.
The main home is made up of nine-bedrooms and nine-bathrooms, with an additional bedrooms in the guesthouse.
Spanning a massive 13,000 square feet, the gated estate sits on nearly two acres of land and comes with every amenity you can think of.
The house features 10-foot long ceilings with a movie theatre, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, gym, powder room, and a wet bar.
Other amenities include a salt-water pool, tennis court, a cabana with a full outdoor kitchen, and a smart home security system.
Interior features an elevator, chefs kitchen with a breakfast area, and a banquet sized dining room, according to the listing. There is also an expansive great room, library, office, and six fire places in each of the rooms.
The primary suite comes with dual baths and walk-in closets.
The new home comes after the “WAP” rapper and her husband, Offset, welcomed their second child, a baby boy, in early September.
The couple also share three-year-old daughter Kulture.
Meanwhile, Offset purchased an investment property in the Dominican Republic as a birthday present to his wife last month.
