In my search to buy my second vacation rental in Puerto Rico, I came across a deal that seemed too good to be true. The price seemed too low and the property was awesome, but, something seemed fishy. The first time I bought a house in Puerto Rico I found that I needed to verify everything that sellers told me. This little beach house was a For Sale By Owner property that was being advertised online. I’m not 100% sure if this was a scam or not but you watch this video and definitely learn a few tips on how to avoid scams in Real Estate. This could happen anywhere, not just in Puerto Rico.
